Collaborative Research in Action: Shaping a Positive Future
1–3 July | University of Exeter, Streatham Campus
The UQ Exeter Institute invites you to its 2026 Symposium: three days of presentations, discussion, and new partnerships that will shape the direction of our joint research. Whether you are presenting your own work, exploring new cross-disciplinary collaborations, or seeking to understand where the Institute’s research agenda is heading, this event is designed for you.
A week of research in Exeter
The symposium follows directly from the Exeter Climate Conference (29 June–1 July), which brings together international researchers, businesses, and policymakers to address the carbon cycle, climate extremes, energy transitions, and climate intervention. The two events share a venue on Streatham Campus and overlap on 1 July, creating a full week of research activity. Attendees with interests in Global Environmental Futures and related areas are particularly encouraged to consider attending both.
Further details and discounted booking for the Climate Conference are available at exeterclimateforum.com (use code ECFCOLAB).
What to expect
The programme will include keynote addresses, themed panel sessions, and dedicated networking time to build new collaborations.
Places are limited. Please register your interest now to secure your attendance at the UQ Exeter Institute Symposium and receive programme updates as they are confirmed.
